 SOUTH AFRICA WELCOMES “WORLD CULTURES”

The International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC) is one of the largest and most prominent organization for promoting world languages and cultures. It is dedicated to cultivate and educate the youth and create a platform to share their cultural heritage with their peers around the world.

The IFLC is an annual celebration and showcase for the diversity of linguistic talents from across the world. The purpose of this Festival is to promote a better understanding of the world languages and cultures and witness exceptional performances by students of diverse nationalities.

The festival gives students the opportunity to showcase their talents in various competitions and is a great motivation for the students, teachers, schools, and parents. The festival is an annual international celebration which began in 2003 with only 17 countries participating. IFLC participation ballooned to 160 countries from five continents with more than 2000 participants. Horizon Education Trust (HET), founded in Johannesburg in 1998, has significant and extensive roles in the educational, cultural and social fields in South Africa. HET has been actively participating the International Festival of Language & Culture since 2003 in different countries.

This year HET is hosting the 18th International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC), South Africa in Johannesburg in cooperation with Turquoise Harmony Institute.

18th International Festival of Language and Culture, South Africa (IFLCSA) will be held on April 16, 2020, at Wits Linder Auditorium  in Johannesburg at 19:00.
